By Chuck Eigen
Friday, March 16th, 2012

Barnard College will transition and move their instructors, courses and students to the new Learning Management System at Columbia University.  A group of early adopters from Barnard College had already moved for the start of Spring ’12 term.  Feedback from the early adopters has been all positive.  The remaining instuctors and courses and students will be migrated to New CourseWorks for the start of Fall’12 Term.  Planning and preparation has kicked off.  Training will begin this Spring to ready faculty and staff  to begin using the new system at the start of Fall ’12 Term.

Barnard College joins over 20 Arts and Sciences departments that will complete the transition of all Columbia University professional schools to the New CourseWorks system, powered by Sakai technology.
