The transition from a PhD to a non-academic career is often bewildering and difficult to navigate, and though a significant fraction of PhDs go on to non-academic careers, there is a surprising dearth of resources on how to make this transition. I will share my experience of the job search process and give general advice and guidelines on how to network, apply, and interview for non-academic jobs.
