EGSC and the Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is thrilled to present a screening of “The PhD Movie”,  with a live Q&A with PhD Comics creator Jorge Cham and cast member Crystal Dilworth!

The beloved PhD Comics series by Jorge Cham comes to life in this live-action adaptation filmed on location and produced in partnership with the California Institute of Technology. The film introduces audiences to the unique and funny culture of Academia and follows four graduate students as they struggle to find balance between research,  teaching and their personal lives with humor and heart.

Immediately following the screening,  PhD Comics creator Jorge Cham and cast member Crystal Dilworth will be live in the auditorium for a Q&A session! Jorge will also be available for a book signing of his popular compilations of PhD Comics.

Ticket registration for PhD Comics movie screening will go live at 8PM
on Tuesday,  October 4. You may purchase one ticket per student.
