Introducing ‘One Columbia’

2014_One-Columbia-Blog_Train-1Columbia’s many parts are more connected than ever — our campuses, our schools, faculty, and students working across disciplines and around the world.

Our alumni relations and development community is also strongest when we work together. This fiscal year we have set six goals for the common pursuit we are calling One Columbia.

  1. Raise $250 million in commitments by December 31, 2014.
  2. Increase alumni engagement as measured through ALMA.
  3. Through interdisciplinary, integrated approaches, work as “One Columbia,” putting the interests of alumni, donors, and faculty first.
  4. Identify, create, and distribute Columbia content that enhances alumni and donor engagement and fundraising opportunities.
  5. Increase the effective use of data-driven insights to drive alumni and donor engagement – i.e., ALMA, Portraits, Athena Events, and other forms of data collection and analysis.
  6. Make Columbia the fundraising and alumni relations employer of choice.

On 1 Columbia, this new communications hub, we will share progress toward our goals, while highlighting personal stories, successes, and milestones. Thanks for being part of this remarkable community and for making One Columbia a reality.
