About

Columbia University Cycling competes in collegiate and USCF races and is open to full-time students of Columbia University — both undergraduates and graduate students. Racing is primarily, but not limited to the collegiate road racing season which occurs in March and April. CU Cycling competes at 8-9 ECCC races as well as select USCF races. Some CU cyclists also compete in cyclocross, mountain bike, and track races that are usually held later in the year.

Most CU cyclists get their first racing experience as part of the team. Many are now accomplished Pro/1/2/3 riders in the NYC area (and elsewhere). Group rides and skills clinics are led by current riders and alumni throughout the fall, winter, and early spring in order to prepare for the racing season. If you’re new to cycling and/or interested in racing, check us out! You can add yourself to our Google Group or email [email protected]
