Position/Party: Class of 2018 President candidate/SEAScake

Bio: It’s been a real pleasure representing you on ESC for the past three years. I look forward to making this a phenomenal senior year!

Platform: As your senior class council, we will focus on the following initiatives:

1. Hype Senior Events: We have a history of being extremely responsible with our class budget, finding new vendors to keep costs low for you. What does that mean for our senior year? With a larger budget than ever before, expect the classic celebrations like Octoberfest, Winter Gala, Lerner Pub, with our classic ESC flair of ridiculously cheap swag and exciting graphic design.

2. Increasing Visibility for Post-Graduation Resources: Senior year can be an exciting but also stressful time for a lot of us. Job/grad school hunting, apartment hunting, student debt—all of these things are very real, very challenging aspects to graduating college. We on council promise to do our best to help you understand how to get started on life as real independent adults, so you can maximize the good times while we’re all still here.

3. Have More Cross-School Events: We really believe that senior year is all about coming together as one university, and to that end, we’re planning to organize several more cross-school events, beyond large dances or galas. Think engineers vs. college trivia night, olympics, you name it—this is our last chance to really get to know everyone else in your class, and we want to make that as easy as possible.
