Columbia University

Teaching Scholar, Atmospheric and Climate Science for Public Health, P8301
Fall 2019

    • Graduate level course at the Mailman School of Public Health
    • Required for Climate and Health Track Certificate students
    • ~ 10 students in the class
    • Responsible for grading, weekly office hours, hosting review sessions, and a guest lecture

Teaching Scholar, Public Health Impacts of Climate Change (3x), P8304
Spring 2017, Spring 2018, Spring 2019

    • Graduate level course at the Mailman School of Public Health
    • Required for Climate and Health Track Certificate students, optional for others with no prerequisites
    • Ranged from ~10 to 30 students depending on the year
    • Responsible for grading, weekly office hours, assessment design, lesson plan design, and a guest lecture; led roughly half of all class sessions

    • Graduate level course at Bloomberg School of Public Health
    • Optional advanced biostatistics course building on specific topics; required for certain majors
    • ~350 students in one section
    • Responsible for office hours, providing statistical consulting on course projects, and grading of exam and final projects
