Nick Mauss (b.1980, USA) lives in New York and works at the interstices of different media. He is a graduate of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and teaches in the MFA program at Bard College, New York. Mauss has had recent solo exhibitions at Independenza Studio, Rome; Midway Contemporary, Minneapolis; 303 Gallery, New York; and MD72, Berlin. His work has been exhibited at institutions including The Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; and Artists Space, New York. He was included in the 2012 Whitney Biennial and his writing has been published in Artforum, MAY, Peep Hole, and MAP. His solo exhibition at 303 gallery on Chelsea just opened past this Sunday and is on view until April 11.
