The TECRO was established in 1979 per the U.S. Taiwan Relations Act (TRA\, H.R. 2479) to represent Taiwan’s interests in the United States. \nCome join us for an exclusive introduction to TECO in New York\, a Q&A and photo session with the newly appointed Director-General\, meeting with representatives from multiple operating divisions\, and an insider tour of consulate offices and facilities. \n哥倫比亞大學台美學生聯誼會敬邀\n參觀駐紐約台北經濟文化辦事處暨拜會新任處長章文樑大使 \n時間：2月28日（星期五）下午2:30~下午4:30\n地點：駐紐約台北經濟文化辦事處\n（紐約市曼哈頓東42街１號） \n駐紐約台北經濟文化辦事處前身為「中華民國駐紐約總領事館」，1979年台美斷交後，依據美國「台灣關係法」更名為「北美事務協調委員會駐紐約辦事處」，1996年復採用現行名稱。該辦事處規模在美國屬第二大駐外機構，僅次於位於華府之駐美國代表處，外交部、文化部、教育部、經濟部、僑務委員會、行政院金融監督管理委員會、交通部觀光局、中央銀行及外貿協會等單位均派駐人員，共同推動中華民國台灣與美國大紐約地區（含紐約、新澤西、賓夕法尼亞及康乃狄克等四州）之政治、經貿、文化及觀光等各方面之交流。 \n哥倫比亞大學台美學生聯誼會誠摯邀請有興趣者偕同本會成員拜會處長章文樑大使與參觀駐紐約辦事處各相關單位。 \n*There will be a cap of 25 attendees for registration\, which will commence on February 14.
