Center for Science and Society Fall 2018 Welcome Back Lunch

Please join the Center for Science and Society for an informal lunch-time meet and greet to celebrate the start of the new academic year!
Chat with students, postdocs and faculty interested in History of Science, Science, Technology and Society studies, and interdisciplinary collaboration between the sciences, humanities, arts and social sciences. Learn more about our growing community and ongoing projects, as well as upcoming events and funding opportunities.
A portion of the program will be especially dedicated to launching our new student public outreach initiative. This initiative provides grants to students who would like to engage in projects at the intersection of science and society and that have a strong public outreach component.
This event is open to current Columbia students, postdocs, staff, and faculty. Please register via Eventbrite with a valid Columbia email address.
