DESCRIPTION:Eric Sanderson\, Senior Conservation Ecologist\, Wildlife Conservation Society\, and director of the Mannahatta2409/Visionmaker NYC project\, will speak about the historic ecology of Manhattan island\, with a special focus on Washington Heights. These themes are echoed by the currently running exhibition\, Talia Greene: Passage. Dr. Sanderson will also discuss current and future urban planning in northern Manhattan\, and what you can do to make your voice heard. \nArtist Talia Greene and Eric Sanderson will engage visitors on a walk-through of the exhibit following the talk. \nAdmission: $20\, $15 members\, $10 students.
