By exploring the science behind childhood adversity\, she offers a new way to understand the adverse events that affect all of us throughout our lifetimes. As the founder/CEO of the Center for Youth Wellness\, she has brought these scientific discoveries and her new approach to audiences at the Mayo Clinic\, American Academy of Pediatrics\, Google Zeitgeist and Dreamforce. \nDr. Burke Harris will be speaking on her work with childhood adversity and sharing insights from her upcoming book\, The Deepest Well: Healing the Long-Term Effects of Childhood Adversity. Advanced copies of her new book will be available for purchase at the event. \nThe talk will take place from 3:00-4:00 pm.
