Adolescent Health and Economic Strengthening in Sub-Saharan Africa

Established in 2014, the conference provides a unique forum for researchers and NGO leaders to create and foster partnerships and share research findings on economic strengthening interventions and their impact on adolescent health and education outcomes, including those related to HIV/AIDS, with special reference to the situation of youth in sub-Saharan Africa.

Featured Speakers:

Michael Sherraden
Michael Sherraden is the George Warren Brown Distinguished University Professor at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. He is the founding director of the School’s Center for Social Development (CSD).

Neil Boothby

Neil Boothby is the Allan Rosenfield Professor at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, where he directs the Program on Forced Migration and Health. From 2012 to 2014. he served as the US Government Special Adviser and Senior Coordinator to the USAID Administrator for Children in Adversity.
