Tatiana Kouguell-Hoell

TATIANA KOUGUELL-HOELL is a third year MFA playwriting candidate at Columbia University. She graduated from Purchase College with a BA in playwriting and screenwriting in 2018. She has previously studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, the University of Amsterdam and Prague Film School. Tatiana was awarded the Denis Diderot (A-I-R) Grant as an Artist-In-Residence at Chateau D’Orquevaux for October 2021.

Tatiana was a reader for the Harold Clurman Playwrights Division Committee and previously assistant directed Marionettes by Elizabeth M. Kelly (semi-finalist for The O’Neill National Playwrights Conference) at Ensemble Studio Theater. Her written work and original plays include Thirty-Six Questions (The Studio Theater), Everything We Need To Talk About Before We Talk About Sex (The Tank Theater), Interruptions (Or the play for Rosie’s women) (The Tank Theater) and Amsterdam (Stella Adler Studio). She is based in New York City.
