IDA ESMAEILI is a Swedish-Iranian actor, singer, and writer based in New York. Her plays include The Fig Tree, wave (or, the moment the earth shook), and this is not the poem we were both hoping for.  She has collaborated with Off the Grid Theatre Company, Boston Playwrights Theatre, Merrimack Theatre Company, HowlRound, Faust International Theatre, and Pale Blue Dot Theatre Company, amongst others. She received a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory (with an emphasis in Acting, Songwriting and Playwriting), and a diploma from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.  She’s an MFA candidate in Playwriting at Columbia University.  idaesmaeili.com
