What: The New England Renaissance Conference aims to take stock of where we are in this historiographical debate as well as to present recent and innovative research that illustrates the theme of Classical Revival and the reception of Classical sources in the Renaissance.

Conference registration can be completed either online or by post in advance of the conference, or in person on the morning of the conference.

The Registration fee is $15 for gainfully-employed scholars and other working professionals. Registration will be done online for all faculty and non-students. Please make sure to include whether you will be staying for the reception, participating in the Lowell Walking Tour, and any dietary restrictions.

Graduate and undergraduate students are welcome free of charge. They will need to complete a Student Registration Form and e-mail it to [email protected]. You will also be able to print out the form and mail it to us.

Registered participants will receive complimentary coffee and pastries, as well as a buffet or box lunch (including vegetarian options). A reception with cash bar and hors d’ouevres will be available to all conference participants at the conclusion of the conference.

To register in person, please arrive at the UMass Lowell Inn and Conference Center between 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on the day of the conference. The Registration fee can be paid either by check or with cash (no credit/debit cards accepted). You will be asked to fill out your own name tag.
