SUMMARY:The Art of Return
DESCRIPTION:Formerly incarcerated men and women present a night of art and story from inside the American criminal justice system. \nThis year\, over 600\,000 people in the U.S. will return home from prison\, with millions more spending time in jail. Seats are first-come\, first-served. \nAllen Arthur is a freelance journalist based in Queens. A recent graduate of the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism\, he has worked with the formerly incarcerated community for more than two years. His work has appeared in USA Today\, the Marshall Project\, and YES! Magazine. \nDarren Mack\, Beyond the Bars Fellow\, is an activist and advocate.
