DESCRIPTION:December 7th & 8th\, 2017\n9:30am – 4:30pm (both days required)\nColumbia University School of Social Work \n\nAbout the Training\n\nIn this introductory two-day workshop on community accountability and transformative justice\, Mimi Kim\, founder of Creative Interventions will provide an overview of the development and current state of community accountability/transformative justice approaches to intimate partner violence and sexual violence. She will also present the principles\, model and tools in the Creative Interventions Toolkit for a hands-on introduction to the how-to’s of community accountability and transformative justice. This workshop is geared towards both new and experienced anti-violence advocates\, social movement activists\, community organizers\, social workers and others interested in the radical politics of alternative interventions to violence and the practical lessons and challenges for those of us who wish to make these alternatives a reality. \n\n\n\nTo Register \nCOST: $200 per person\n*Limited scholarships are available based on financial need and supporting a diversity of practitioners.
