The film portrays the ripple effect that the life without parole sentence has on the incarcerated youth and their families\, the victim and the community at large. \nThis event will feature a post-screening discussion with Director / Producer Tirtza Even and Anita Colón\, MHS\, Juvenile Justice Advocate / Family Member of Pennsylvania JLWOP sentence. \nThis event is brought to you by the Center for Justice at Columbia University\, and is sponsored by the Center for Justice at Columbia University\, the Department of Anthropology at Columbia University and the Film Studies Program at Barnard College.
