DESCRIPTION:Columbia Law School \nPaul Robeson Gala and Conference  \nPlease save the date for the Paul Robeson Conference onFriday\, February 24 hosted by the Columbia Law School Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and the Columbia Journal of Race and Law (CJRL). Our Keynote Addresses will be from Angela Rye and Khalil Cumberbatch. \nOur theme for the 2017 Paul Robeson Gala and Conference is “Reclaiming the Narrative.” In our legal\, political\, and social climate\, people of color still struggle to dictate their narrative. We aim to highlight the work of legal practitioners\, policymakers\, social entrepreneurs\, and activists to pursue racial justice\, uproot structural inequalities\, and disrupt stereotypes about people of color.
