GSAS Students (including chemistry dept) can apply for (and usually get) conference reimbursement funding up to $500 from GSAS/Chem dept.
- ARPA-E Energy Summit Student Program – Federal funding conference focused on cutting-edge energy research. Student program is free excluding housing and includes dispersing resume to startups, energy companies, and recruiters and a meet greet with potential employers. ARPA-E also offers 2 year fellowships for PhD grads, and Columbia Chem alumni have taken this path.
- ACS National Conference – The big ol’ ACS meeting also includes a career expo
