Thanks to all who made it out to the first General Body Meeting this past Wednesday.  We’re looking forward to seeing you at the great upcoming events that we have this semester.

A short recap of the key moments from the General Body Meeting:

• Regarding the opening in the board for the Alumni Relations Chair, we are currently evaluation applications and hope to announce the new Alumni Chair in the next week.
• There are two important upcoming events:
  • Networking Happy Hour: In late September, we will have our annual Networking Happy Hour with various staff from the UN and its agencies. Stay tuned for updates on location.
  • Film Screening: Juche Strong, a documentary about North Korea, will be screened in early October. The director will be present for a Q&A.
• Other events this semester include an event on Internships and a Humanitarian Crisis Response Simulation.
