Columbia PorColombia Mission Statement
“PorColombia is an international organization that seeks to unite students of Colombian Heritage and students interested in learning about Colombia. With chapters in different universities across the United States and Canada, PorColombia creates and supports a well-established network of students, alumni, mentors, and professionals with substantial involvement on academic, social, cultural, and philanthropic activities.
The Columbia PorColombia chapter seeks to educate the student body and the outside community about Colombian culture, politics, and the country’s rich heritage through social events, discussions, and city outings. We aim to educate and raise awareness of present and future opportunities to build from abroad a stronger, safer, and dynamic Colombia.”
