Sam Grabiner

SAM GRABINER is a playwright and theatre maker from London, currently based in New York. He was the 2016 resident playwright at Papatango Theatre Company, with whom he is currently developing a new play. He is the winner of the Footlights Harry Potter Prize for his play ‘STIFF!’ and is a graduate of The Royal Court Theatre Young Writers’ Programme. He also performs as an actor: he has trained in clown at ‘L’ecole Philippe Gaulier’ in Paris. Credits include Lisa Blair’s Henry V and the Cambridge Footlights International Tour Show, which toured North America to venues such as U.C.B., Second City and ioWest. He co-runs the comedy and theatre company ‘Pelican’ who have toured nationally in the UK with their weird mix of physical comedy and cartoonish storytelling.
