Max Mondi is a writer based in New York. His most recent play, Maybe debuted at the New York International Fringe Festival, where it was awarded for Overall Excellence in a Play. Max’s other plays include You Deserve Me, Grave Rolling Or, A Modest Proposal For A Future Scene, ManChild, and Sometimes A Kumquat Is Just A Kumquat. His work has also been produced and developed at Soho Playhouse, Under St. Marks, Abingdon Theatre Company, Project Y Theatre, The Glass Eye, Boston Actors Theatre, Wax Wing Productions, and Interim Writers, among others. Max is a founding member of Project: Project and Interim Writers and is currently a resident playwright at Project Y Theatre. Originally from Boston, Max holds a B.A. in Theatre History/Criticism from University of Vermont and is currently earning his M.F.A. in Playwriting from Columbia University (expected Spring 2018).
