Columbia started out its post-invitational season with two huge successes from this weekend’s regionals competition in Jamaica, Queens: both 514 and 515 earned bids to the next level of competition! Team 514 finished up the weekend in second place with a record of 7-1. Special congratulations to Mario Gabriele and Jacob Andreas, who both earned attorney awards with (respectively) 17 and 18 ranks on the defense! Team 515 came in a close fourth place overall with a record of 6-2! Special congratulations to Jessica Becker, the only attorney at the tournament to win an award for both sides of the case (17 ranks on both prosecution and defense), and Miranda Nowak, the only person to earn a perfect 20 witness ranks, who received a witness award for her portrayal of Dr. Jordan Lee on the prosecution!
Both teams will compete in the Opening Round Championship Site at White Plains, NY the weekend of March 13-14. Congrats to everyone for quite a successful weekend!
