Graphing Tutorial Basics

First, make sure you have the most recent version of Microsoft Excel.  Typically your institution will have an Office 365 account for you and you can download Excel to your computer.  This instruction was designed for desktop versions of Excel published in the last few years.  Web versions of Office 365 will not correlate perfectly with our instruction.

To navigate to videos, you can use the website menu system.  Begin by clicking “Graphing Tutorials”, then choose your computer type and the respective tutorial:

To set up instruction on your computer screen, minimize your browser’s width and place it on the left side of the screen.  Then, open Excel and place it on the right side of the screen.  This way you can watch the videos and work in Excel at the same time:

Returning?  Use the table of contents feature to find instruction on a specific part of a graph.  Once you have used the instruction, you may not need to watch each step.  To skip to the step you need, follow these 2 steps:
