Lucy Nonas-Barnes

Lucy is a graduate of the CSSW DBT Training Program and is currently employed as a DBT-Informed Multi-Family Therapist for The Children’s Village, working to help reunify families post-foster care and juvenile detention placements. She has been working within the juvenile justice/criminal justice systems for the past seven years across the country, beginning during her undergraduate training at the University of Michigan. Lucy has worked in group homes, schools, government agencies, not-for profit organizations, and correctional facilities around the country. Lucy’s interests lie in evidence-based practice and research, specifically related to DBT. Lucy plans to earn her PhD and continue to work with incarcerated and at-risk populations.
