COÖP Rentals offers a variety of camping equipment for your outdoor excursion. Equipment may be rented for a day, or as long as several months.* Blackout dates include the last two weeks of August. To place an order, please email cooprentals@columbia.edu and the rental coördinator will assist you in setting up pickup and drop-off times. Cash and checks can be accepted at the time of pickup. If you would like to pay with a credit card, visit the TIC online or in Lerner Hall. Please see our rental pricing and policies below.

Rental Policies
Equipment Reservations
Reservations must be made at least a week in advance—exceptions are possible but not guaranteed. Blackout dates include the last two weeks of August. To place an order, please email cooprentals@columbia.edu and the rental coördinator will assist you in setting up pickup and drop-off times.
Equipment Pickup and Return
Please email the rental coördinator at cooprentals@columbia.edu with your desired pickup and drop-off dates and general availability on those days. There is no refund for a missed pickup appointment. Additionally charges will apply if a late return exceeds the original rental timeframe. If necessary, please reschedule pickup and drop-off times in advance with the rental coördinator.
Payment
Cash and checks can be accepted at the time of pickup. If you would like to pay with a credit card, please visit the TIC online or in Lerner Hall.
Reservation Cancellation
There is no charge for reservations cancelled more than two days in advance. Otherwise, refunds will not be granted.
Damage/Loss & Equipment Cleaning
You are responsible for the full costs of repairs/replacement if equipment or gear is damaged, lost, or stolen. Please clean all equipment after use. Cleaning costs may apply if dirty equipment is returned.
COÖP Leader Discount
The rental fee is waived for all current COÖP leaders affiliated with Columbia University.
