Location: Columbia University Faculty House, accessed via 116th Street gate between Amsterdam Ave. and Morningside Dr.

Directions by Subway
- Take the #1 train to 116th Street (Columbia University) stop.
- Enter campus through gates at 116th and Broadway.
- Follow College Walk across Amsterdam Avenue towards Morningside Drive. After passing Jerome Greene Hall on the left, enter Wien courtyard through the gates.
- Follow courtyard around to the right. Faculty House will be the last building on the right.
Note: Only the local #1 train stops at the 116th Street station. If you take the #2 or #3 express trains from downtown or midtown, you must transfer at the 96th Street station to the #1 train.

Via M4, M60, or M104 buses:
(from Midtown East; Upper East Side; Harlem; Astoria, Queens; or LaGuardia Airport)
- Take the bus to 116th Street and Broadway.

From South
Exit the Henry Hudson Parkway at 96th Street and proceed east, crossing Broadway, and turn left (north) at the next light, Amsterdam Avenue. Proceed north on Amsterdam for 20 blocks to campus. In addition to street parking on Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue (metered), on Morningside Drive and on side streets, there is a garage on 114th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue (close to Amsterdam) on the south side of the street.
From North
Exit the Henry Hudson Parkway at 125th Street and proceed east, crossing Broadway, and turn right (south) at the next light, Amsterdam Avenue. Proceed south on Amsterdam for nine blocks to campus. See above for parking recommendations.

- Upon exiting the station, walk through the main gate at 116th Street and continue east across campus on College Walk to Amsterdam Avenue.
- At Amsterdam Avenue, walk north to 118th Street and turn right. The main entrance to the building is on 118th Street, just east of Amsterdam Avenue.
- Take the elevator to the 15th floor.

The Institute is accessible from the Henry Hudson Parkway (the West Side Highway) in Manhattan. From the Henry Hudson Parkway, exit at 125th Street. Travel east along 125th Street to Amsterdam Avenue (3 blocks), and turn right to go south on Amsterdam. Turn left at 118th Street. The main entrance to the building is on 118th Street just east of Amsterdam Avenue. Take the elevator to the 15th floor.
From the East Side of Manhattan:
The Institute is accessible from the FDR Drive on the east side of Manhattan. From the FDR Drive, exit at 125th Street. Travel west to Amsterdam Avenue, then turn left to go south on Amsterdam. Turn left at 118th Street. The main entrance to the building is on 118th Street just east of Amsterdam Avenue. Take the elevator to the 15th floor.
