Pre-medical Undergraduate Mentoring Program (P.U.M.P)

Mission Statement of P.U.M.P.

The mission of the Charles Drew Pre-Medical Undergraduate Mentoring Program is to encourage, support, and retain undergraduates in the pre-med curriculum at Columbia University by providing one-on-one peer mentorship.

The Premedical Undergraduate Mentor Program (P.U.M.P.) is an initiative started in Fall 2009. P.U.M.P. strives to make use of peer resources to improve recruitment and retention of historically underrepresented minority students in the premedical curriculum at Columbia University.

Anyone interested in helping to organize these events or in becoming a P.U.M.P. mentor or mentee, please contact the P.U.M.P. Chairpeople. (See current Executive Board List)
