Title: Dec 02 Practical Missing Data Imputation.
Location: Lindsay Rogers Common Room Room 707, Seventh Floor, IAB
Description: The workshop is co-sponsored by New York University PRIISM Center.

Please join us for a workshop on practical missing data imputation. This workshop will have two main goals. The first goal is to demonstrate the new incarnation of the mi multiple imputation package in R, including a recently developed GUI (graphical user interface) version of the program that allows for more of a “point and click” experience. This presentation will focus on use of the program including the role of the graphical diagnostics produced by the software.

The second goal of the workshop is to facilitate a discussion about the current missing data needs of applied researchers. The forum for this discussion will be several short talks by applied researchers regarding their experiences with missing data in their research, followed by a more open discussion and question-and-answer period. This discussion will allow the developers of mi to point out features of the program that in some cases may be able to addressing the needs that have been brought to light. It will also help to inform the further development of the program to address needs that aren’t currently being met.
